Labour’s conference in Liverpool has pushed Political Events up 14%, as Brits caught up on the latest announcements from the new government. Changes to pensions and retirement has driven Personal Finance up 14%, lead by Retirement Planning, up 50%, and Financial Assistance 16%, while Earnings soared 9.45x.
Housing was also high on the agenda, with Prime Minister Andy Burnham promising the biggest council house building drive since the post-war era and an end to Right to Buy on new homes. The announcement helped push Property up 27%, with Houses rising 58% and Renting & Leasing 47%.

Seasonal TV is back, with some of the UK’s biggest shows returning to screens. The Celebrity Traitors returned for its second series with the biggest launch in the show’s UK history, while Strictly Come Dancing and The Great British Bake Off are also back for their latest series. The packed autumn schedule has helped push Television engagement up 11%, with Reality TV rising 24% and Drama TV 3% as Brits settle into cosy nights in.
Paris Fashion Week, finishing tomorrow, has seen Style & Fashion rise a stylish 7%, while Luxury Goods engagement has strutted up 3x, and Designer Clothing has risen a luxurious 88%.
As cold and flu season gets underway, Medical Health engagement has risen 17%. With this year’s Government flu vaccination campaign now underway, Vaccines has surged 3.5x as people check eligibility and find out when and where to get their jab.
Over in Sport, England’s two Nations League fixtures, against Czechia on Tuesday and Croatia on Saturday, kept Football ticking along at 3%, and Sport edged up 1%.
