Ozone – the UK’s leading digital advertising platform built for brands by publishers – has today announced a pilot partnership with Mail Metro Media, bringing even more of the UK’s best known and most engaging media brands to the premium publisher alliance.
As the advertising home of dmg media, Mail Metro Media’s six month pilot partnership with Ozone will bring online power brands such as Mail Online, Metro.co.uk, inews.co.uk and newscientist.com to the publisher platform. The inclusion of Mail Metro Media’s highly attentive combined audience of more than 7m daily unique users (source: Ipsos iris, January 2023) will complement those delivered by the trusted and brand-safe environments of Ozone’s current publisher partners.
Delivering scaled advertising opportunities in premium online environments is at the heart of Ozone’s proposition, and the inclusion of Mail Metro Media’s 30m monthly readers will significantly enhance the frequency by which brands can reach consumers. According to the latest Ipsos iris data, the expanded portfolio will increase Ozone’s daily reach by more than 16%. In addition, its highly engaged properties will add over 2.2bn total minutes per month to the offering, enhancing the network’s engagement by almost 75%.
By offering a single point of access to highly engaged audiences, Ozone’s platform allows advertisers to work with premium publishers. While Mail Metro Media will continue to sell its premium, rich cross-media audience targeted solutions directly to agencies and brands, Ozone complements this with programmatic enablement of scaled audiences, across their portfolio of premium websites.
Damon Reeve, CEO, Ozone said, “We talk about Ozone being a home for premium publishers of all sizes and guises, but few are more impressive in scale than the Mail Metro Media portfolio and we’re very excited to welcome their brands to commence this pilot. Their inclusion really reinforces Ozone’s mission of creating a more sustainable future for journalism by offering advertisers a really easy and effective way of reaching online audiences. While every partner signing is incredibly significant, welcoming Mail Metro Media is monumental for the growth of the premium publishing industry at large.”
Hannah Buitekant, Managing Director Digital, Mail Metro Media said, “We are excited to work with Ozone, further enabling programmatic advertisers to reach highly engaged audiences across recognised premium publishers, reinforcing the value premium publishers with editorial-led websites have over the rest of the open internet.”
The pilot will commence from March 2023 and run for a minimum of six months.
