Cheltenham Festival took place last week, driving strong engagement across Ozone’’s Audience Connection Platform. Women’s Fashion rose 20% and Women’s Outerwear surged 89% as attendees searched for the most stylish outfits to wear to the races. Interest in Casinos & Gambling jumped 3x as bets were placed, while Horse Racing soared 5x as fans followed the action. With the Grand National taking place next month, engagement with horse racing is set to reach its biggest moment of the season, with 5.7m related users active across our platform.
Mother’s Day took place on Sunday, driving a surge in seasonal activity as Brits celebrated Mum. Gifts & Greeting Cards rose 70% and National & Civic Holidays 33%. The occasion also lifted Food & Drink, up 7% WoW, with Desserts & Baking rising 21% as Brits searched for sweet ways to mark the day.
