Last week, reader engagement with Sport content across our premium publisher platform grew +11% to a record 106m page views, as two of the 2024 summer of sport’s biggest events came to dramatic conclusions. here

First, Barbora Krejcikova and Carlos Alcaraz won the respective women’s and men’s championships at Wimbledon. Then, Spain defeated England at the final of EURO 2024 to claim the tournament title. Tennis and Football page views increased by +13% and +15% respectively as a result. There was also a notable +72% increase in Golf page views ahead of this week’s Open Championship at the Royal Troon Golf Club in Scotland.

Elsewhere, 4x higher Sport TV page views drove Television content to engagement growth of more than a quarter.
