To celebrate International Women’s Day, Ozone hosted an inspiring fireside chat on Women in Leadership, featuring two of our standout leaders, Emma Cranston, Senior Director of Advertising and Dipti Patel, Senior Publisher Development Director, lead by Neya Bhatia, Insights Manager.

Some of the standout insights were:
- The power of advocacy: Success isn’t just about what you know; it’s about the “village” of mentors and advocates who push you toward your next pivot.
- Representation matters: Through partnerships like Media for All (MEFA), Ozone continues to champion visibility, ensuring that leadership roles feel reachable for everyone.
- Modern leadership: Future-proof leadership is defined by empathy, curiosity, and clear communication rather than just technical expertise.
- Authenticity is key: “People buy from people.” Staying human and true to yourself is a professional superpower.
- Back yourself: Emma and Dipti’s top advice? Trust your instincts and push outside your comfort zone.
In alignment with this year’s theme “Give to Gain,” we extended our celebrations to support the wider community:
- Supporting social enterprise: The team enjoyed catering from Luminary Bakery, a social enterprise dedicated to providing career opportunities for women facing disadvantage.
- External giving & impact: We also sent out a short quiz to our external network, where every entry counted as a £1 donation to the WONDER Foundation. We are proud to share that, together with our partners and peers, we raised £500 to support women’s empowerment through education.
- Championing women-owned business: One lucky quiz participant has been awarded a £100 gift card to a woman-owned business of their choice, further circulating support within the female entrepreneurial community.
Thank you to everyone – both internally and across the industry – who joined us in making this year’s celebration a success. 🩵
