Ozone makes the grade at the Marketing society awards 2021

The Ozone Project is delighted to have been named as a finalist in The Marketing Society Awards 2021 in the ‘Digital Strategy’ category - and doubly delighted as these awards are judged by the marketers our platform has been designed to work for.

This follows hot on the heels of another finalist nomination at the Digiday Awards Europe where Ozone has been nominated in the ‘Best Publisher Platform’ category.

When ISBA’s Director General states the digital advertising ecosystem is broken, then change is inevitable. Many of the issues facing marketers are persistent problems that have plagued digital advertising - and in particular programmatic - for years.

The Ozone Project is a strategic solution to these challenges. Born from a historic and groundbreaking collaboration between publisher rivals, our goal has been to build a premium digital advertising platform for the future - one based on trust and fairness.

  • We aligned four leading publishers behind the common mission of building a High Attention digital advertising platform - a transparent, easy way for advertisers to reach highly attentive audiences at broadcast scale, in brand-safe, known environments that are trusted and proven to deliver real results.

  • We built a platform that is scalable across the premium publishing industry, with our founder publishers News UK, The Telegraph, The Guardian and Reach being subsequently joined by Stylist, The Independent, Evening Standard, Bauer Media, Time Out and DC Thomson.

  • We created a one-stop-shop platform that allows advertisers to access premium publisher scale in the way they do the major tech platforms like Facebook, Google and Amazon. Collectively, Ozone reaches 99.6% of all UK online adults, that’s 45.3m of them!

  • We designed products that enable our customers to maximise the opportunity in quality publisher environments, with bespoke solutions for Brand Safety, Semantic Analysis, ID & Targeting alongside integrated Marketplace connections for advertisers and agencies.

  • We delivered brilliant results for advertisers through the combination of our people, environments and technology, such as increasing average Brand Lift by 7 percentage points over 126 different campaigns.

  • We experienced rapid growth in media investment from our advertiser partners with 2020 revenue up +280% and brand count doubling year on year, all while exceeding expectations set before a global pandemic kicked in.
