Better future series #2 - Effective measures of success

The Better Future Series, a programme of thought leadership events specially designed for the digital marketing community from The Ozone Project, continues on Thursday 22nd July with our next session, ‘Effective measures of success in digital advertising’.

Building on our inaugural identity session and white paper in May, ‘Effective measures of success’ will focus on what new and improved measures of success we, as an industry, should look to embrace.

While advertising works in many different ways, the world of digital has had a historical over-reliance on one-dimensional metrics to gauge the success of different types of campaigns. And as the tide turns on this single-minded thinking - partly due to industry changes, partly due to smarter clients - our ‘Effective measures of success’ will look at more meaningful alternatives.

As part of this, you will hear from Flora Williams, MG OMD’s Head of Implementational Planning for OmniGOV, and Sophie Strong, Head of Display & Social at Wavemaker, in conversation with Ozone’s CRO, Craig Tuck.

The broader session will also highlight some of the measures in place at Ozone that help our customers gain a deeper understanding of success when they work with us, including a very special, first-view of our latest initiative that focuses on attention measures as a way to optimise campaigns.

Across 2021, The Better Future Series we will be hosting regular, open-invitation events focused on our industry’s most topical and talked about themes, and the opportunities they create for advertisers.

From user identity and success measures to first party data and attention metrics, this series will not only dissect the issues of the day, it will also showcase the initiatives at the heart of Ozone’s mission to create a better future for all.

This document gives a view of what we see as ‘The Path to a Better Future’. Each session we curate will have an accompanying white paper that describes in more detail the journey that both Ozone and our industry is on.
